🧵 The Luca Pants (Beginner)
Pattern Description
The Luca Pants (designed by The Ordinary Folk) are wide-leg pants designed for everyday play. Their roomy fit makes diaper changes a breeze (no wrestling tiny legs back into tight cuffs!) and means they’ll fit your little one for longer before they’re outgrown. The oversized silhouette is timeless, easy to style, and pairs with just about everything. Best of all it’s a gender-neutral pattern that’s perfect for passing down between siblings and friends. The Luca Pant is a great base pattern, with endless opportunities to customize it later with ruffles, binding, and other creative details.
In class, we’ll be sewing a streamlined version of the pattern (no pockets – that’s right, no laundry surprises) so you can confidently crank out a whole stack at home or with a Punch Pass session afterwards. Smell ya later We$tcoa$t Kid$!

Materials
We've partnered with Blackbird Fabrics to supply all of the fabrics for our classes! We take care of purchasing and picking up all the fabric, thread, and notions in advance, so everything is ready and waiting for you when you arrive. Just show up and start sewing!
For this class, we'll be working with 7oz Softened Organic Cotton OR Stripe Printed Cotton Twill.
After you register, you'll receive an email with a link to a Google Form where you can select your fabric. Fabric selections must be submitted at least 5 business days before the start of your class.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made by email at least 10 days before the first day of class or event. With 10 or more days’ notice, we’ll issue a refund less a $50 administrative fee. Cancellations made fewer than 10 days before the start date are not eligible for a refund.
